With the German town of Hahndorf, the Adelaide Hills also only an hour away, Goolwa is also the gateway to the mighty mouth of the Murray River and the wild Coorong district, where fishing and birdlife is abundant and you can hire riverboats, or canoe/kayak/camp along the riverbanks to experience it's untouched beauty. The House is situated a minute's walk to the river, is placed along the rail line for the historical cockle steam train that takes you to Victor Harbour (operates on school holidays) . This house doesn't come with vehicle, but there are ample car hire companies at Adelaide airport to choose from.
