You can even ski into Italy from La Rosiere and enjoy a lunchtime pizza before returning to France via the ski lifts.
The local area of Vallandry is perfect for beginners and intermediates and is great for those flat light days as there are loads of tree lined trails plus a high alpine bowl for beginners so that they can enjoy the mountain ambience without being stuck down in the valley.
For experts try the 7 Km continuous black from Aiguille Rouge (3200m)down into Villaroger (1300m)or some of the off piste (please use a guide) runs where you can really get back to nature.
For experts only,(with a guide)the run from the top of the Bellecote Glacier back to the chalet is a fantastic way to get a lunchtime appetite and you can enjoy the L'Ancolie restaurant (gourmande and best in the whole area) as it is opposite our chalet.
