We also are two steps from the Vatican situated just across the river. The area always has a vibrant feel and is a beautiful and elegant way to be right in the heart of the centre and the fulcrum of Rome by night. Some meters away, you can find 2 supermarkets for your food shopping.
By day, on Campo de' Fiori, one of the world most famous outdoor food market takes place. All the area is full of outdoor trattorias, restaurants and bars. Two steps away, the ancient Piazza Navona, in the heart of Rome, a popular spot for people to hang out and admire wonderful Renaissance and Baroque buildings and fountains.
In brief, all the major sites of archaeological and historic interest of Rome are at walking distance from the apartment. On the other side of the river, across the bridge, you can easily walk to Trastevere, the old artistic Roman borough, where the night life is joyful and the restaurants exquisite.
